THE Endometriosis Christmas Bus Shopping Trip Fundraiser took place on Saturday, November 14 on a typical hot and sunny Brisbane day.

This didn’t stop any of the participants from having their bags at the ready for a successful shopping spree. Happy faces were to be seen all day and many bargains were snapped up. We visited 12 great warehouses with shopping ranging from books, gifts, kitchenware, clothes, shoes, toys and linen.

We had a lovely lunch at Broncos Leagues Club, Red Hill with a good drink or two to help us carry on through the afternoon. In between shopping, we had a fantastic contribution of raffle prizes, won by many ladies and finished off with a Christmas hamper as the lucky seat prize.

At the end of the day all ladies straggled home laden with bags of shopping and tired legs after what was a successful, social and fun day. This was a great way to promote our association and endometriosis awareness, which is what it is all about.
