Movie Event 2009

Move Event 2009

THE association thanked its support workers, volunteers and sponsors for their tireless contribution in keeping the EAQ alive with an afternoon at the movies on Sunday, December 6, 2009.

Matt Damon's new whistle blowing comedy film, The Informant! was on the menu at the Blue Room Cinebar, Paddington. A private 24-seat cinema was booked especially for the occasion followed by an informal afternoon tea (the cakes were delicious and dangerous!) and general chitchat.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and put new faces to names while enjoying a relaxing afternoon.

The association would also like to thank Ms Jill Skinner, division president of the South Coast division of the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA), for taking the time to join us.

Movie Event 2009
On behalf of the volunteers and support workers, I would like to thank Libby Needham and Judi Cogliati for organising this event and on behalf of the association we would like to extend a big thank you to all of the EAQ’s volunteers and support workers.

We have a fantastic team and our combined efforts are paramount to the success of the association in continuing to help women better understand and cope with endometriosis.
