Meet your local coordinator - Erin
Hi, my name is Erin Martin! I am 24 years old and in the Lockyer Valley. I work in Education with a Community Services background. I decided to join the QENDO team 5 years after my diagnosis of Endometriosis. I had experienced symptoms for 4 years prior to diagnosis, which was during an emergency appendectomy. Since then, I have received more diagnosis and these are all managed by a multi-disciplinary team. I am really passionate about women’s health issues and being able to access appropriate and timely support.

Meet your local coordinator - Vicky
Hi! I’m Vicky — 43 years young, proudly born a “RAAF Kid” in Malaysia during the early ’80s. My 5th grade teacher once charmingly described me as “a muddle-headed wombat with a heart of gold.” Looking back, I now realise that was just my ADHD shining through (officially diagnosed 33 years later — better late than never, right?).
My journey with endometriosis started early, with pelvic pain even before my first period and a laparoscopy at 16. Although my family has a strong history of reproductive concerns, I wasn’t officially diagnosed with endometriosis until I was 37. Before then, many doctors told me it wasn’t genetic and I was just “unlucky” with painful periods — a narrative I later learned was far from the truth. Working in healthcare taught me the power of self-advocacy and trusting my own body’s wisdom. I’m a determined soul who’s navigated these health battles while juggling a full-time career and caring for my parents during their own health struggles.
By day, I’m immersed in the healthcare industry (corporate side), ensuring our community receives safe, high-quality care. While I’m not in a clinical role, I love knowing the impact my work has on people’s lives.
Outside the 9-to-5, my friends know me as a passionate mental health and women’s health advocate, a free spirit, and a fun-loving, forever-young-at-heart companion. When I’m not cheering on Taylor Swift or getting lost in country tunes, I’m tending my ever-growing collection of plant babies or perfecting my linen closet organisation — a feat my friends swear is “a work of art.” I’m also an amateur artist, channeling my colourful, crazy brain onto canvas and paper with paints.
If you ever want to chat about healthcare, mental health, or swap Taylor Swift favourites, I’m your gal!
