Connected Communities in Mackay Queensland

Welcome to the Mackay QENDO Community!

  • Meet your local coordinator - Scout

Hi my name is Scout, I am 23 and extremely passionate about Endometriosis. I was diagnosed in December 2024 after having symptoms for over 10years. I understand the struggles of navigating the health care system and the challenges of advocating for yourself. I created a Facebook support group in Mackay for women suffering from Adenomyosis, Endometriosis, PCOS and Pelvic pain as I felt alone and knew there had to be other women in Mackay who felt the same. I am also a nursing student graduating in December. I want to use my knowledge as a nurse to help women and make a difference in the health care system

  • Join our Online Community

Online communities provide a valuable space for support and information sharing for individuals dealing with endometriosis and pelvic pain. Our Group on Facebook offers a place for members to connect, share personal experiences, and access resources.

They can be particularly helpful for those seeking understanding and advice from others who are navigating similar health challenges.

Our Community emphasises privacy, respect, and mutual support, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.

  • Our Events

We bring the community together throughout the year to increase education, support, awareness, understanding and learning how to manage our symptoms locally.
