Become a QENDO Volunteer

Make a difference through lived experience.

At QENDO, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Every member of our volunteer team has lived experience with endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS/PMOS, infertility, pelvic pain, or has supported a loved one through their journey. This shared understanding creates a compassionate, welcoming community where no one has to face these challenges alone.

Whether you're looking to support others, advocate for change, raise awareness, or give back to a community that has supported you, there is a place for you at QENDO.

Why Volunteer with QENDO?

As a QENDO Volunteer, you'll join a passionate, Australia-wide network of people committed to improving the lives of those affected by endometriosis and pelvic pain. Volunteers play an important role in delivering peer support, representing QENDO at community events, assisting with awareness campaigns, supporting local initiatives, and helping us reach more people who need us.

No matter where you live in Australia, there are opportunities to get involved in a way that suits your interests, skills, availability, and lifestyle.

Comprehensive Training & Ongoing Support

You don't need previous volunteer experience, we'll provide everything you need to get started.

Every volunteer completes our comprehensive onboarding and training program, which covers:

  • QENDO's mission, values and programs

  • Understanding boundaries and the role of peer support

  • Trauma-informed and compassionate communication

  • Confidentiality and privacy

  • Inclusive and culturally safe practice

  • Community engagement and advocacy

  • Referral pathways and available support services

  • Volunteer wellbeing and self-care

Our volunteers also have access to ongoing learning opportunities, resources, mentoring, regular check-ins, and a supportive volunteer community that encourages connection and personal growth.

More Than Volunteering

Becoming a QENDO Volunteer means becoming part of a community that understands. Many of our volunteers tell us they joined to help others but found friendships, confidence, purpose, and a renewed sense of belonging along the way.

Together, we're creating a future where everyone affected by endometriosis and pelvic pain feels heard, supported, and empowered.
