Dance for Me Research Program

Move, connect and contribute to research

QENDO is proud to partner with Dance for Me and Western Sydney University on an exciting research program exploring the potential benefits of movement and dance for people living with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

The Dance for Me Research Program will explore how participating in regular Zumba-style dance sessions may support people living with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, while contributing to a growing body of research into supportive, non-medication approaches to symptom management.

The program will run over 8 weeks at the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) in Sydney.

Best of all, participation is completely free, with all costs covered by the research project.

About the program

Over 8 weeks, participants will take part in weekly Zumba-style dance classes and complete research questionnaires before, during and after the program.

The research team will use participant feedback and survey responses to better understand the potential role of movement-based interventions for people living with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

By taking part, you can enjoy regular movement in a supportive environment while helping contribute to research that could inform future approaches to care.
