GATHER Workshop - Brisbane
This May, we invite you to Gather.
We’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how we can best support our community, and we’re making a change.
While we originally planned a Long Lunch, we’ve decided to evolve this into something more meaningful: an in-person workshop series focused on real support, practical tools, and expert-led learning.
Not everyone needs a social event, but everyone deserves access to information, understanding, and support that actually helps in day-to-day life.
These workshops are designed not just for those living with endometriosis, adeno, or pelvic pain, but also for the people around them. Partners, parents, carers, and support networks. Because this doesn’t just impact one person, it impacts relationships, families, and entire support systems.
So what can you expect?
✨ Expert-led sessions (physios, specialists, therapists & more)
✨ 2-course lunch
✨ Real conversations (no fluff, no overwhelm)
✨ Practical tools you can actually use
✨ A safe, supportive environment
We’ll be covering everything from pain management and surgery to intimacy, advocacy, and navigating the workplace, because support should go beyond awareness.
We’re really excited about this next chapter ✨

Hour with QENDO Online - Danica Hickey - Research at QUT
Join QENDO with an engaging conversation with Associate Professor Danica Hickey from Queensland University of Technology. We will delve into the fascinating world of research at QUT, focusing on advances in reproductive immunology and endometriosis.
Associate Professor Danica Hickey specialises in understanding the complex factors behind endometriosis and infertility, exploring how genetics, hormone regulation, and immune responses interact to influence disease development. Her work aims to identify immune signatures that could predict infertility related to endometriosis, paving the way for earlier diagnosis and better fertility management. Additionally, Associate Professor Danica Hickey is working on innovative therapies that target hormone receptors to modulate immune pathways, with the goal of reducing chronic inflammation and enhancing reproductive health.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the latest research efforts shaping the future of reproductive health and endometriosis treatment at QUT.

The Unseen: Art & Endometriosis
A powerful collection of artworks exploring the often-unseen realities of living with endometriosis. Through painting, mixed media, and visual storytelling, this exhibition brings to light the physical, emotional, and social experiences that are too often hidden behind closed doors.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 people assigned female at birth, yet the condition remains widely misunderstood and frequently invisible. The artists in this exhibition transform personal stories of pain, resilience, identity, and hope into compelling visual works that challenge silence and spark conversation.
Each piece invites viewers to witness what is rarely seen — the complexity of chronic illness, the impact on daily life, and the strength of those who live with it. By translating lived experience into art, the exhibition aims to raise awareness, foster empathy, and create space for dialogue around reproductive health.
All artworks are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting ongoing advocacy, education, and support for people living with endometriosis.

2026 endoMEtriosis Art Awards Night
Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 women+, and its impact in the workplace is profound. In Australia, it costs over $9.7 billion each year, with nearly two‑thirds of this due to lost productivity such as absenteeism and presenteeism. This ceremony shines a light on their stories, transforming lived experience into powerful art and driving awareness where it matters most: in our communities and workplaces. By starting a conversation in the workplace, you will not only be supporting those living with endometriosis but also equipping your People Leaders and HR Managers to better support those affected by endo within your teams.
We would love you to join, giving visibility to struggles that often remain unseen…making the invisible, visible.
