2026 endoMEtriosis Art Awards Night
Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 women+, and its impact in the workplace is profound. In Australia, it costs over $9.7 billion each year, with nearly two‑thirds of this due to lost productivity such as absenteeism and presenteeism. This ceremony shines a light on their stories, transforming lived experience into powerful art and driving awareness where it matters most: in our communities and workplaces. By starting a conversation in the workplace, you will not only be supporting those living with endometriosis but also equipping your People Leaders and HR Managers to better support those affected by endo within your teams.
We would love you to join, giving visibility to struggles that often remain unseen…making the invisible, visible.

endoMEtriosis Art - Community Connections
Join the QENDO team at the CBD Art Gallery in Sydney for a special evening of Community Connections — a night dedicated to meaningful conversation, creativity, and genuine connection.
This intimate gathering brings our community together in a welcoming space where lived experience is honoured and shared. Whether you’re living with endometriosis, supporting someone who is, working in healthcare, or simply passionate about advocacy and the arts, this event is an opportunity to connect with others who understand the journey.
The evening will feature a special panel of guest speakers who will explore themes of lived experience, advocacy, resilience, and the role of creativity in healing and storytelling. Through open dialogue and thoughtful discussion, we’ll reflect on the power of community and the importance of being seen and heard.
Guests will also enjoy grazing tables and cheese platters while viewing a curated exhibition of 30 selected artworks from this year’s endoMEtriosis Art Competition. Each piece offers a unique perspective — capturing the complexity, strength, vulnerability, and hope that shape the endometriosis experience. The exhibition invites reflection, conversation, and a deeper understanding of how art can amplify voices that are too often silenced.
Together, we’ll celebrate artistic expression, shared stories, and the strength that grows when community comes together in one space.
We would love for you to join us for this inspiring evening of art, dialogue, and connection — and to be part of a community that continues to uplift, empower, and advocate for change.

Associate Professor Danica Hickey specialises in understanding the complex factors behind endometriosis and infertility, exploring how genetics, hormone regulation, and immune responses interact to influence disease development. Her work aims to identify immune signatures that could predict infertility related to endometriosis, paving the way for earlier diagnosis and better fertility management. Additionally, Associate Professor Danica Hickey is working on innovative therapies that target hormone receptors to modulate immune pathways, with the goal of reducing chronic inflammation and enhancing reproductive health.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the latest research efforts shaping the future of reproductive health and endometriosis treatment at QUT.
