Hi, I'm Ann

I am a 57 year old Registered Nurse with 3 grow up children (29,27,26 years of age) living between Bathurst NSW and Melbourne,Victoria.I was originally diagnosed with DIE Endometriosis Stage 4 at the age of 18 years via Laparoscopy.I have a number of female relatives with Endometriosis and Infertility on my father’s side of the family.

I was fortunate to have children after my second laparoscopy but developed Adenomyosis and had a hysterectomy at the Age of 45 years. More recently (post menopause) I was diagnosed and treated for Pelvic Compression Syndrome, and then had a laparoscopy to remove Bowel, DIE, Sciatica and Pudendal Nerve Endometriosis overseas with a specialist surgeon in 2025.

Our daughter who is 29 years old currently lives with us due to her Endometriosis, PCOS and Fowlers Syndrome. We have a team of health care providers that both Hannah and myself access to help manage our conditions

I have been a qualified registered nurse for 35 years and worked in large medical clinics managing multidisciplinary teams of health care providers. I am very interested in pelvic pain and would really enjoy chatting about your journey in a supportive way as this was not available too me and it felt very isolating at times.

I enjoy sourdough baking, travelling and walks in nature when I am up to it! I feel very strongly in communicating as much as possible about pelvic pain and having access to more appropriate medical teams to allow us to make well informed decisions in managing our personal healthcare needs.
