Hi, I’m Brighdie
Hi I'm Brighdie (pronounced Bridie)
I am in my 30s, working as an arts manager and a former professional classical Bassoonist! I've been navigating endometriosis since I was 14 but sadly like many women, only received a diagnosis 2 years ago. I've undergone multiple surgeries and fertility treatment and since my diagnosis I've been working to bring together a multi-disciplinary care team through a wide range of modalities to support me.
I am a strong believer that you never regret a swim and that a problem shared is a problem halved. I enjoy getting out in nature, pilates, yoga, attending work concerts and getting cosy reading a good book! I am passionate about advocating for endometriosis and supporting women in all stages of life having recently negotiated reproductive leave for my workplace which allows paid leave for women navigating painful periods, endometriosis, adenomyosis, PMOS, surgery and procedures, fertility treatments, perimenopause and menopause.
I'm here on QENDO to support and advocate for our endo girlies on their journey navigating endometriosis. I will hold space for you, encourage you to broaden your toolbox of support and empower you to advocate for yourself. Looking forward to meeting you!
